Situated at the heart of old Seoul (Gangbook, or South of the river), this small but cozy two-bedroom flat affords you independence, quietness, and a piece of nature in the midst of the busy city. A whole flat with 2 rooms are for you, one tenant - not shared! The house sits on a high ground and has a hilltop view into the cityscape (yes, concrete apartments and roofs) of Seoul, with a specially beautiful sunset. It is at the tip of Ansan and you are right next to the entrance to the mountain and its parks and walking trails. This independent flat is 33m2 and has two small bedrooms, a kitchen and a bathroom, and a shared toilet (with one friendly lady next door) in the shared courtyard. As the house is an old style, the toilet is a squatting one - yes, challenging to some, but certainly good for the health :) It is a 3 minute walk to the backgate of Kyunggi University, 10-15 minutes walk to metro stations (Seodaemun, Ahyun, Chungjungro) as well as Yungcheon Traditional Market. I'd say this is a particularly handy location for those who love walking, but it's also well connected to the metro stations by the neighborhood buses. The street is very quiet and scenic, with the neighborhood being extra safe with many of its elderly residents. This flat is only for a single female guest (sorry, gentlemen), because of the shared toilet. It'd be imperative that you are as respectful to the neighbors as they are to you; they share the courtyard with you and live there. Happy staying!
